As VP Business Development for Staffing Services, Documentation & Training, Barth is responsible for leading PIC Group’s Staffing Services organization, and driving global sales for Documentation and Training, playing a key role in solution development strategies, managing a customer-centric sales approach and expanding PIC Group’s key relationships to best support PIC Group’s customers in meeting their specific professional staffing, documentation and training requirements.
Travis Barth brings nearly 20 years of strategic power industry experience to PIC Group, Inc. and offers a diverse background in Engineering, Project Management and Sales Management including a 12-year career at Toshiba America Energy Systems Corporation.

- Director, OOEM Services, Toshiba America Energy Systems Corporation
In his 12-year career at Toshiba, Travis was responsible for the development, growth, and long-term sustainability strategy of OOEM service. He managed OOEM Field Sales Managers to promote core values and motivate OOEM customers toward a long-term partnership with Toshiba as the preferred service provider.
- Sales Manager
Travis managed key accounts and developed new customer relations for a Midwest sales territory and served as the primary point of contact for industrial customers. He effectively promoted the organization’s product and service capabilities, including manufacturing, retrofitting, specialty engineering services and repair capabilities.
- Project Manager
Travis became proficient at technical proposal writing, schedules, cost, and budget development and effectively communicating project goals to support staff to align, coordinate and execute work activities in his role. He originally joined Toshiba as a Construction Engineer III supporting construction of combined cycle power plants. His responsibilities included the installation of gas turbines, steam turbines, site balance of plant rotating equipment and other mechanical components and served as the site interface with OEM technical advisors.
- Mechanical Construction Supervisor, Wisconsin Public Service
Serving in multiple positions, Travis saw continuous growth in his responsibilities beginning as a Production Engineer at two different generating stations and rising to Operations Interface Consultant and then Mechanical Construction Supervisor.
Travis earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from Marquette University and achieved a Yellow Belt in Continuous Improvement in 2018. Other professional achievements include completing Miller Heiman Sales Training and Japanese Cultural Training. He is a Certified Weld Inspector, completing both OSHA 30 and OSHA 10+ Courses and attended the Leading Tomorrow Symposium.
